One of the most fascinating experiences can be a week long tour
to Moscow, the capital of Russia. During the tour you will visit the
Kremlin grounds and Red Square, the seat of power since 1156, and
famous cathedrals and museums. The package also includes a visit to
the Tretiakov Gallery. It is the most famous Art Gallery in Moscow
where an extraordinary collection of Russian art is exhibited. You
will also have guided tours to Kolomenskoye, a former village in the
east of Moscow, famous for being a tsar estate in the past and
beautiful churches located there, and Sergiev Posad, a part of
Golden Ring - a tourist route with a network of ancient Russian
cities.
Itinerary
Day 1
Arrival in Moscow. Transfer from the airport to the hotel,
accommodation.
* Coach excursion "Moscow at night" - Vorobyevi Hills - the
beautiful view of the city from the observation platform, Moscow
State University, Novodevichiy Convent, "Diplomatic Village",
Victory Park with its fountains and churches, the Triumphal Arch,
Kutuzov prospect, Arbat Street, etc.
Day 2
Breakfast.
Sightseeing coach tour round the most beautiful places of Moscow
- main streets, squares and places of interest: the Tverskaya street
the most animated and saucy, the former headquarters of the KGB, the
Bolshoy theatre, Russian White House, the Cathedral of Christ the
Saviour, the Red Square, the Cathedral of St. Basil the Blessed and
other major city sights.
Excursion to the Moscow Kremlin and Kremlin Cathedrals - the
historical center of Moscow. The Kremlin has always been perceived
as a symbol of power and might of the Russian land. Each era of the
Russian history left its architectural mark on the Kremlin. Within
the Kremlin walls there are many architectural monuments, churches,
cathedrals, museums, etc.
* Lunch at the local restaurant.
* Excursion to Kolomenskoe - the former summer residence of
Moscow Grand Princes and Russian Tsars created in the XIV-XVII
centuries. It is the unique art, historical, architectural and
nature-landscape museum-reserve. Nowadays it is a remarkable place
to enjoy Russian folklore performances.
Day 3
Breakfast.
Metro-tour - history of its foundation and visit to the most
gorgeous stations decorated with sculptures, glass, colored marble
and bronze chandeliers.
Walking along Arbat Street - one of the oldest Moscow’s
thoroughfares was once the quarter of court artisans, which in the
19th century became the district of the aristocracy, while a century
later it became a favorite shopping street.
* Lunch at the local restaurant.
* Excursion to the Tretyakov State Gallery - one of the
world's largest museums, a treasure house of old Russian art from
the 11th century till our days. The gallery bears the name of its
founder, Pavel Tretyakov, who presented his collection to the city
of Moscow in 1892. Now the museum holds more than 50000 works of
painting, art and sculpture./

Day 4
Breakfast.
Trinity - St.Sergius Monastery. - founded in the 14th century
is one of the most honorary active Monasteries of Russia. It is an
active residence of Patriarch power located 70 km away from Moscow.
Day 5
Breakfast.
* Pushkin Museum of Fine arts - contains a fine collection of
ancient Egypt; Greece and Rome art are well represented. The Art
Gallery has works the most Europe’s greatest painters- Botticelly,
Rembrandt, Rubens, Van Dyck and Constable, a vast-selection of
French paintings
* Evening performance.
* Transfer to/from the evening performance.
Day 6
Breakfast.
Bolshoi Theater
Bolshoy means big, so
this is a big theatre. Built in 1824, this theatre was the second
biggest theater in the world after Milano's "La Scala". Besides, it
is one of the best opera theaters in the world. It is hard to buy
ticket, but if you manage to do this, you will like the show.
Day 7
Breakfast.
Airport Transfer. Departure from Moscow.
