If you walk up from the
Kremlin along Tverskaya street, on your left you'll see an ordinary
equestrian statue devoted to the founder of Moscow - prince Yury
Dolgoruky, was built in the 1954, to celebrate Moscow's 800th
anniversary. There are no pictures of this prince, so the architect
just made a statue of a typical mid century Russian knight. |
