Dombai

Dombai is one of the most popular resorts of the Northern Caucasus (consists of a magnificent plateau 1600 m above sea level) there is always a lot of snow in winter. Southwest slopes of the mountain Myssa-Achitara are the best place for skiing (3012 m) 2-km pendular road is built here for mountain skiers. There are also 5 chair lifts and 3 large ski trackers. Trace extent of the slope is 3.5 km, width of the slope is 500 m. Relief of the slope is various for any taste, any experience. Hotels ``Solnechnaya Dolina``,``Snezhinka``, ``Gornye Vershiny`` are available for mountain skiers. Alpine hostel ``Alibek`` is located in 3.6 km to the west from Dombai glade where skiing is organized on the slopes of Semenov-Bashy and on the glacier near kotal Jalovchat. Several bar lifts are available here.
